Creating Inner Space, Creating Calm

Your mind can be wonderful and unruly at the same time!  Learning to tame an unruly and busy mind is like exercising a muscle that you’ve never really worked out before. It takes consistent practice to get comfortable.

It’s a slow journey worth taking. Especially, if you’ve already decided to live a calmer, stronger, less stressful life.  This workshop is about exploring a variety of ways to become more connected with yourself and feeling uplifted in body and mind.

It’s all in the prep

You wouldn’t have a full 3-course meal and then go out for run!  It’s the same with meditation and mindfulness, some preparation is needed to make the process easier.  

This includes:

The meditations will be kept short about 10-20 mins.

Meditation V/S Mindfulness

Meditation and Mindfulness are very closely linked.  Mindfulness is the ability to be aware of the present, noticing and paying attention to thoughts, feelings, behaviour, and everything else in the present with minimal distraction.  

Meditation goes deeper were you can begin to transform the mind by using techniques that encourage and develop concentration, clarity, emotional positivity, seeing of the true nature of things and creating a deep sense of calm.  

We’ll explore both mindfulness and meditation.  All you need to bring is yourself (plus a mat, blanket & water) and a sense of curiosity to explore.

Who’s it for?*

Anyone who is curious about meditation and mindfulness.* No previous experience is necessary. You may also find the workshop useful if you lack confidence in meditation or live with mild or moderate depression and anxiety.**

Booking your place

Advance booking is essential, as workshops often sellout. You need a yoga

Mat, blanket (which we can provide) and water.  Chairs will be available.
