Inspired by the comments from the last workshop, this time we’ll focus more on the idea of letting go, helping you become more relaxed and lighter in yourself.
When we hold on tight to our body, our breath, our emotions and thoughts, we get heavy. When we release, we get lighter. It's the core of yoga - becoming light in our body, in our thoughts and in our mind.
You don’t necessarily have to analyse or make sense of any stress or tension you’re carrying or needing to let go. By focusing on your body and breath, moving in a fluid and unforced way, you can gently & safely release stuck energy physically, mentally and emotionally.
The result, you start to feel lighter, more well in yourself and even think more clearly, not just at the workshop but the few days that follow.
Along side the movement and sequences, you’ll also explore longer deep relaxation, pranayama (breathing), simple visualisations and mindfulness.
There will be a short break, were we offer light refreshments.
Who’s it for?
Anyone wanting to relax, from new learners to those with some experience. Young or Old. Fit or Unfit - Bendy or Non-Bendy- It’s all good. Everyone Welcome*
